Election Result Implications for U.S. Immigration

Now that election day is behind us, we are looking to what the next presidential administration will mean for our clients and all immigrants who are part of America’s fabric.  No doubt, the anti-immigrant rhetoric has been loud.  However, rest assured that we will stand by our clients’ sides and navigate the immigration system expertly with you!  Even during Trump’s last administration, we were proud to keep our extremely high success rate.  We have much experience in crafting winning strategies in an anti-immigrant climate.Trump will likely take action on immigration policy within his first days in office. We know from his campaign that he wants to crack down on unlawful immigrants in the U.S., resume building a physical wall, and generally make the immigration process more challenging. We can expect that there will be both published and unpublished changes.  Though nobody knows yet exactly what those changes will be, we will collaborate with liaisons in Washington D.C. and across the country.  We will sift through rumors and take action based on reliable information.  We will alert our current clients if a change to their specific immigration strategy is needed. For those who have been thinking about submitting a new immigration application, we recommend starting very soon, before new immigration policies take hold.  Please contact our office if you would like to schedule a consultation. Finally, we want to underscore the value we believe immigrants add to our country both culturally and economically. We are committed to working in partnership with our U.S. employers and all foreign-nationals to continue to achieve the best possible outcomes and ensure their rights are protected.
